LCW staff were undeterred by the challenges of running a MacMillan Cancer Support cake sale whilst adhering to social distancing and infection control rules.
Amateur bakers the length and breadth of our service heeded the call to turn their ovens up high and get backing for the charity. Cup cakes, lemon drizzle and strawberry and white chocolate and banana and caramel traybakes persuaded people to part with their hard earned cash and we raised a total of over £127. Sadly because of the restrictions in place, this figure is lower than cake sale money raised by staff over the past six years.
